This is a quick, easy oil free recipe for creamy vegan Caesar dressing with raw cashews, nutritional yeast, capers, lemon juice, vegan Worcestershire, dijon mustard and more. It uses a high speed blender, like a Vitamix. It’s one simple, fast and incredibly tasty cashew Caesar dressing. It makes ~1 cup dressing or ~8 servings. Store in a sealed container in the refrigerator. Use within ~2-3 days, but always use your judgment with any leftovers.
No high speed blender? Soak the raw cashews for 4-6 hours, drain off the water, and use in this recipe. The texture for the dressing will be a little different than results with the high speed blender, but it should still taste good.

Vegan Caesar Dressing
¾ cup raw whole cashews
½ cup water
2 tsp capers
2 tsp nutritional yeast
1 tsp dijon mustard
1 tsp vegan Worcestershire sauce (store bought or use a DIY version)
2 Tbsp lemon juice
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp salt
Black pepper, to taste
- 1. In a high speed blender (i.e. Vitamix, Ninja), add all the vegan cashew Caesar dressing ingredients EXCEPT the black pepper. Blend until completely smooth and creamy.
- 2. Next, stir in the black pepper (to taste). Taste and adjust the flavor, if needed (more lemon juice or salt?). Serve on a Vegan Kale Caesar Salad, your favorite salads, wraps, bowls and more.
