Vegan Chipotle Mayo


This easy recipe for spicy vegan chipotle mayo is a delicious sauce for enjoying on veggie burgers, fries, sandwiches, grilled corn on the cob. In some places in the U.S., you could buy an entire jar, but maybe you don’t need an entire jar.

This recipe has only 6 ingredients. This mayo is a great excuse to use chipotle peppers in adobo sauce. Because I love them, I usually have some hanging out in the back of my fridge. The rest of the items are kitchen staples.

Executing this vegan chipotle mayo recipe only requires a bowl, a fork and a spatula. You can adjust the level of spiciness based on the amount of chipotle pepper(s) or adobo sauce that you add. It makes ~½ cup to be enjoyed on whatever you want 😊

How to Make Chipotle Mayo Vegan
A smoky and spicy vegan chipotle mayo sauce recipe

Vegan Chipotle Mayonnaise

½ cup vegan mayonnaise

1 chipotle pepper in adobo sauce

½-1 tsp adobo sauce

½ tsp lime juice

½ tsp garlic powder

Salt, to taste

DIY Vegan Chipotle Mayo

1. Smash and pull the chipotle pepper apart with a fork until it resembles pulp. Add it, and the remaining vegan chipotle mayo ingredients to a small bowl.

2. Fold everything together with a spatula. Taste, and adjust seasonings (add another pulverized chipotle pepper? Add more adobo sauce? Salt?). It’s ready to use!
